We are a personal training facility offering 1 to 1 and 4:1 client/trainer ratio training. We use equipment that you won’t find in your conventional commercial gyms: sledge hammers, tractor tyres, prowlers, grappling ropes to mention a few. We also provide shower and changing facilities.
Joanne ElliottOK here goes..... I don't like going to the gym or at least I didn't. Before a friend told me about 2D and the impact of having a personal trainer. I spent 3 months going to the local gym on my own and week after week trailed along not seeing any real results. After 8 weeks in 2D I shed just about 10lb and lost an amazing 10 inches! Every session is different and every one who goes is so positive about each other. The guys really push you on and there is simply no way I would or could lift/push/throw/pull what I do now with out the support and encouragement of David and Dave. Its good hard training no quirks or stupid 'lycra' just results. I actually now can't stand it when I am off on holls or away with work and can't get my time in with them. When I first started I had a sore hip and Dave was able to work with me and give me a pattern of exercise to help release it and it has been so successful. The only time I am sore now is when Idon't train. All the time during body conditioning I didn't realise that I was building up strength and fitness and most importantly correct posture.... correcting old habits. Now I am learning to swing kettle bells, lift weights and really how to burn off more and more fat. The guys also advise on the best way to eat to train and to change lifestyle so as your time in the gym really pays! Most of all the new found confidence and the positive mental attitude you get from the way in which the guys get you to push yourself and succeed is amazing!
" 2D Strength & Fitness changed my life
In May2013 I made a commitment with Dave Henry & David Mayne to change my lifestyle & my personnel appearance . After giving up hockey I became a couch potatoe then wished up &joined a local gym. I did body pump & spin plus I had an inexperienced personnel trainer. Unfortunately I got a back injury once again a couch potatoe.
I bumped into Dave Henry who suggested I come to 2D for a consultation & a look around their gym. One session in I was hooked.4 weeks of 1to 1 rehabilitation balance& positive encouragement they then decided when I was ready to start training!! To date I have completely changed my diet, my shape I'm pain free & with the 2 Dave's help my outlook on life . The gym has a great atmosphere & the camaraderie with other gym members is amazing. You can train on a 1 to 1 basis or with 2 or 3 others which is great if you competitive !!!. The 2 Dave's treat everyone on a personal level be it in a group or individual, they plan & implement your goals & DO get results. My stats at the start of August was one & half stone twenty Five inches four percent body fat now that's results & I haven't finished yet! Thank you lads I feel great Jackie Green
